When the only homebrew supply shop in the Five Boroughs closed in 2024, it was devastating for us. New York fell in love with the hobby of homebrewing (and fermenting in general) and came to take for granted that there would always be a homebrew shop nearby. The brewing and homebrewing scenes in New York are too important to not have a local homebrew shop.

So we decided to do something about it. 

Rob Jenkins and Matt Land started Forever Homebrewing as the city’s only brick & mortar homebrewing store. A place for fans of beer, mead, cider, wine, kombucha, and fermenting in general to get supplies, trade stories and ideas, and to ask questions.

Then their shop almost lost its lease, so Rob and Matt starting looking for a new home - a home that they could use to expand into their dream idea of a brewery and homebrewing shop under the same roof. After months of searching, negotiating, waiting, filling out paperwork, joining calls, filling out more paperwork, and finally moving… Forever Brewing opened its doors in April of 2026.

Rob and Matt are both dads that live in Brooklyn that thought it was a good idea to start a business together.
